RENOVATION
Regular light renovations are important to keep your surface strong and healthy. This includes scarifying, overseeding, aeration and topdressing on sports pitches and golf courses. We can also do major renovations to rejuvenate older sandbased/sandcarpet pitches by removing thatch build up.
Combined with new drainage solutions if required, this can bring your pitch back to as new condition at a fraction of the cost of a full reconstruction.
Top Dressing
Top dressing improves soil quality, surface levels, surface drainage and improves root development.
Scarifying
Removes moss and other organic matter from the surface, and helps water and nutrient absorption and promotes new grass growth.

A sandcarpet is the final piece of a pitch construction to provide a consistent surface with great
drainage properties on top of a well-drained soil based rootzone.

Proper maintenance is vital to gain maximum value from your sports surfaces. Give your players the best chance to perform on a safe and aesthetically pleasing surface. We can provide everything from periodic treatments to full bespoke maintenance plans to suit each client’s requirements, whether
it’s natural grass or an artificial surface. Services include grasscutting, vertidrain, shockwave, topdressing, fertilizing, overseeding, spraying etc.
Aeration
Vertidrain and Shockwave aeration are vital to keep grass roots healthy and maintain good surface drainage.
Grass Cutting
Grasscutting is the most important and most regular maintenance activity. We have the machinery required for regular mowing or to help you control areas that have become overgrown.
DRAINAGE
We provide full primary and secondary drainage solutions on new constructions, existing pitches and golf courses.
Primary Drainage
Improves playing conditions. Improved traction, quality and durability of the turf. Installation of trenches with a whizzwheel trencher, drainage pipes and backfilled with round drainage stone and sandcapped. Primary drains take water from the secondary drains away from the pitch and to the outflow.
Secondary Drainage
Installation of gravel slit trenches or gravel bands. This provides surface drainage to get water off the surface quickly and into the primary system.
UPGRADES
A range of upgrades to existing pitches are available, such as artificial goalmouths, goalposts, walking/running tracks and artificial grass at pitch entrance/surrounds/dugouts.
